Hi, I am Sophie. Since joining Crew & Concierge as a Deck Resourcer, I’ve brought firsthand experience from working within the yachting industry as a Stewardess, giving me a genuine understanding of the realities of life onboard and what it is like for crew members working within demanding yacht environments.
Having experienced the fast-paced nature of the industry myself, I understand the importance of finding the right fit for both crew and clients. Working within the deck department, I focus on supporting Deckhands and deck crew throughout their job search, building strong relationships and taking the time to understand each candidate’s goals, experience, and the type of programme best suited to them.
I pride myself on being approachable, organised, and calm under pressure, whilst delivering a personable and professional approach throughout the recruitment process. As I continue developing my shoreside career, I’m excited to expand my industry knowledge, strengthen relationships across the deck sector, and continue learning within such a collaborative team environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy countryside walks with family and friends, travelling, meeting new people, and spending as much time by the sea as possible.
