The contract will begin with an immediate boss trip, so the successful candidate must be confident, organised and able to hit the ground running. As this is a sailing yacht, applicants must have a proven background working aboard sailing yachts of 25m or larger, or substantial recreational sailing experience. A minimum of one full season’s experience is required.

Crew & Concierge are seeking an experienced Second Engineer to join a 90m private and charter motor yacht. The vessel operates a dual-season itinerary and is currently undergoing a significant refit in a shipyard in the Netherlands. The project is expected to continue for the coming months, making this an excellent opportunity for an Engineer who enjoys being heavily involved in technical projects, maintenance planning and major engineering works before returning to an active cruising programme.

We are looking for an experienced Second Engineer with previous experience on 60m+ motor yachts in a similar position. Candidates should ideally hold a Y1 Certificate of Competency and must have prior experience working through an extensive shipyard period on a 60m+ yacht, with a strong understanding of refit planning, contractor management, commissioning and major engineering projects. You should be confident working as part of a larger engineering department, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to engineering.

During the shipyard period, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer, Third Engineer, ETO/AVIT and Fourth Engineer, assisting with all aspects of the refit. Responsibilities will include overseeing contractors, planned maintenance, machinery servicing, troubleshooting technical issues, system upgrades, commissioning equipment following installation, and ensuring all engineering projects are completed safely and to the highest standard. Once the vessel returns to operation, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the engine room, ensuring all mechanical, electrical and auxiliary systems are maintained to exceptional standards while supporting both the private and charter programmes.

Crew & Concierge has an exciting and unique opportunity available onboard a 70m+ Motor Yacht for a Head of Housekeeping/Head of Service. This is a hybrid senior position in which you will be responsible for covering the leave of both the permanent Head of House and Head of Service. You must therefore be highly competent, reliable and confident across every aspect of the interior. The yacht operates a busy private/charter programme, cruising the Mediterranean throughout the summer before crossing to the Caribbean for the winter season.

As a senior member of the interior team, you will be responsible for training, guiding and managing junior interior crew while maintaining excellent standards throughout all guest areas. You must be confident leading every style of service, including silver, plated and family-style service. You will also liaise directly with charter guests and take responsibility for leading service whenever the Chief Stewardess is called away. The successful candidate must be adaptable, comfortable moving between housekeeping and service, and capable of maintaining consistently high standards within both departments.

Crew & Concierge's Deck Department is currently seeking an experienced Second Officer to join a 57m private motor yacht in a permanent capacity. We are not seeking a Michelin-trained chef or someone focused on fine dining who wants to showcase their skills. Instead, we are looking for someone who takes pride in producing simple, nutritious food to an exceptionally high standard, with an emphasis on flavour, presentation and consistency. Working closely with the family's nutritionist, you will prepare balanced meals that align with the Principal's dietary requirements and nutritional goals. You will primarily be catering for 1-3 people, with only occasional meals for a handful of guests. This is not a role centred around formal entertaining or large dinner parties; the focus is on supporting the family's day-to-day lifestyle through healthy, well-executed cooking.

This property serves as the family's UK residence and is occupied for approximately three months of the year, acting as their base while travelling throughout Europe. During quieter periods, this position operates on an annualised contract averaging 30–35 hours per week, with increased flexibility and availability required when the family are in residence.

This is an incredibly varied, hands-on role where no two days will be the same. One day may be spent ensuring the property is impeccably presented ahead of the family's arrival, making beds, preparing guest rooms and carrying out housekeeping duties, while the next could involve coordinating contractors, overseeing maintenance works, managing suppliers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the estate. They are looking for a proactive, organised and dependable individual who enjoys taking ownership of a property and maintaining exceptionally high standards.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the residence, carrying out regular property inspections, organising storage areas, maintaining household inventories, monitoring stock levels, managing post and deliveries, running errands and ensuring the home remains immaculate throughout the year. You will be responsible for catering for up to 10 guests and 4 crew, creating fresh, flavourful dishes using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The owners enjoy a varied menu, so confidence across a range of cuisines is essential, with an emphasis on simple, well-executed food rather than overly complicated dishes.

To be considered, you must have a professional culinary background along with a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Sole Chef onboard yachts. You should be confident managing the galley independently, producing both guest and crew meals to a high standard, and be passionate about working with fresh, seasonal produce. Any previous sailing yacht experience would be highly beneficial, although recreational sailing experience will also be considered. Crew & Concierge are looking for an experienced Commercial Captain to join a barge operating out of the Port of Aberdeen on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The position is due to commence in late July/early August and operates primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on operational requirements.

As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe operation and navigation of the vessel, overseeing all onboard operations while ensuring full compliance with company procedures and industry regulations. Working closely with the Deckhand/Mate and Engineer, you will ensure the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the vessel, supporting a collaborative and hands-on working environment.

You will maintain all vessel documentation and statutory records, liaise with port authorities, terminals, and shore-based operations, and ensure the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency are maintained. You will also lead and mentor the crew, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all onboard operations are carried out to the highest standard.

Due to the nature of the operation, we are specifically looking for a Captain with proven experience handling heavy commercial vessels, ideally with extensive experience manoeuvring barges or similar vessels when fully laden with fuel or cargo. Equally important is the ability to confidently manoeuvre the vessel when it is lightship or carrying minimal load, as handling characteristics differ significantly. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to these changing conditions and have the practical vessel handling skills to operate safely and efficiently in a busy commercial port environment.

Crew & Concierge are looking for a Commerical Deckhand to join a barge operating out of the Port of Aberdeen on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. Working as part of a small, close-knit crew alongside the Captain and Engineer, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the vessel. This is a hands-on position where teamwork and a proactive approach are essential.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the vessel's deck operations, assisting with the safe transfer, mooring and unmooring, operating and maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring the vessel is kept to a high standard at all times. You will also carry out routine inspections, assist with basic maintenance, participate in emergency response drills, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures, industry regulations and health and safety standards.

The role operates primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable operation with the potential for long-term employment.

The owners are active users of the vessel and generally spend approximately one trip per month onboard throughout the year, although usage can vary depending on their schedule.

As Bosun, you will form part of a close-knit deck team of three, working directly alongside the Chief Officer and taking responsibility for mentoring, managing and overseeing the Deckhand. This is a hands-on position requiring a confident leader who can maintain high standards whilst contributing positively to the team environment. The vessel carries a 38ft Protector and a 6m Williams tender, therefore strong tender handling skills and confidence operating guest tenders are essential. Permanent Position

Start Date: 13th June 
Salary: Starting at $5,000
Holiday: 48 days

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the yachting industry, ideally with previous experience as a Bosun or a strong Lead Deckhand ready to step up.
Strong sailing background with both superyacht sailing experience and recreational/racing sailing knowledge
Confident tender driver with experience operating guest tenders safely and professionally, including larger tenders such as a 38ft Protector.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor and motivate junior crew whilst maintaining high standards across all deck operations.
Holds a Yachtmaster qualification as a minimum; candidates currently working towards their OOW will be viewed favourably.
